The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), during its 344 Board of Executive Director’s meeting of 13 February 2022, approved Projects for Cote d’Ivoire, Guinea, and Senegal
The Board of Executive directors of the Bank, at its 344th meeting held on 13 February 2022, approved a total of EUR 297.67 million for 3 Member Countries under the Regional Hub of Dakar. These are: EUR 35.14 million for Phase 3 of the Hydro-Agricultural Development Project in Upper Sassandra and Fromager Regions in Cote d’Ivoire, EUR 24.30 million for Phase 2 of the Development of Technical and Vocational Education Project, Guinea, and EUR 238.23 million for the Construction of the Dakar – Tivaouane - Saint Louis Highway/ Mékhé - Saint Louis Project.

IsDB and THIQAH Sign Agency Agreement to Promote Investment and Trade in Member Countries

IsDB and ICD Sign Agency Agreement to Implement R2 COVID Support Line of Finance
President of Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Dr. Bandar Hajjar, and CEO of the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD), Mr. Ayman Sejiny, have put their signatures to an Agency Agreement for the implementation of IsDB Group’s R2 COVID Support Package, which will assist IsDB Group Member Countries to restore their economies and recover from the negative impacts resulting from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Pakistan and IsDB Inaugurate Construction of Power Transmission Lines
President of Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), Dr. Bandar Hajjar, and the Federal Minister for Energy (Power Division), Pakistan, Mr. Omar Ayub Khan, in a high-level virtual event have inaugurated the construction of the 113 kilometer electricity transmission lines from Pak-Afghan border to Nowshera under the South Asia Central Asia Regional Trade and Transmission Project (CASA-1000).
