It gives us honour to invite you to participate in the 2022 Annual Meetings that will be held by your institution, the Islamic Development Bank Group, under the patronage of H.E. Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Sharm El Sheikh on 3-4 June 2022 under the theme: “Beyond Recovery: Resilience and Sustainability”.

This year's IsDB Group meetings are being held in the context of significant economic and geopolitical developments that mainly feature obvious decline of the COVID-19 pandemic and renewed hopes that the world will enter a phase of partial recovery of its economic vitality.

In that connection, the meetings of IsDB Group Governors and the associated side events, which will be held in the period 1-4 June 2022, will offer an opportunity to examine such developments and explore means to bolster economic relations among the Member Countries under the continuous changes in the international arena.

We will soon share the logistical and administrative details, including the health and safety plan, as well as the measures taken by the Egyptian authorities in coordination with the IsDB Group to facilitate the participation of all delegations in these Annual Meetings.
